Disney II Elementary Magnet School

Disney II is a magnet school with an emphasis on arts & technology. The school does not have attendance boundaries. All applicants should reside in the city of Chicago.

You may apply online at www.apply.cps.edu  Applying online provides an immediate response that your application has been received.  If you prefer a paper application, print out the 2012-2013 Standard Elementary Schools Application located on the website cpsoae.org.  Do not submit both.  The completed application MUST be submitted to the Office of Academic Enhancement, 125 S. Clark St. 4th floor, Chicago 60603. THE APPLICATION PERIOD BEGINS OCTOBER 1, 2011 and ENDS DECEMBER 16, 2011.  For questions regarding the lottery application process please contact the Office of Academic Enhancement at 773 553-2060.

Preschool applications can be printed on the website ecechicago.org. We have two programs; Preschool For All (free 2 &1/2 hour program) and Tuition Based Preschool Program (PAID 8am- 6pm program) The Tuition Based Preschool program is a first-come, first-served basis. THE APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED BEGINNING OCTOBER 3, 2011 AT 8:00AM IN THE MAIN OFFICE. We will give waitlist numbers to students that are not accepted into the program due to lack of space. The Preschool For All program APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED BETWEEN OCTOBER 3, 2011 AND MARCH 23, 2012 IN THE MAIN OFFICE. The admission criteria is based on all data provided on the application.

According to state law, your child must be five years old by September 1^st of their kindergarten school year.

No, bus transportation is not provided.
