Young Author's Competition

Young Authors is a city wide writing competition for students in grade K-12. It was created to motivate students to become writers and authors. For Young Authors, students write original pieces of writing and publish their work in some form of a book. Disney II had a school wide K-3 Young Author’s competition in April. All students were welcome to participate in the competition, however participation was not mandatory. There was one finalist from each grade level. From the finalists, one student was selected from grades K-2 Izabella Mimms-Hadad and one student from 3rd grade
